Yaay!! November is here! I am so excited I could scream. Don’t even ask me why because I have absolutely no clue why the new month is exciting for me. I just woke up with a burst of energy and overwhelming happiness , I could burst from joy. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I hope your November has began great, and I’m sending lots of love and good vibes from my end to yours. πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€

Well, probably most of you thought the title meant love and life. Am I wrong?πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Actually, it is basically me and life. How so, many of you would ask. Well, I am DarkheartemojiπŸ–€ (duuuhhhh, insert eye rollπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚). Yes, the blog today is a brief intro about me, so you can put a character to the pieces and blogs and stories you will see here in days, weeks, months and years to come. Someone told me to go anonymous, and I do admit the thought was quite appealing, but I’d rather my precious readers know who I am. Keep reading, keep goingπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ usichokeπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

You could be wondering, why darkheartemoji or why the codedpoet or why both? Well, most people close to me know I love the colour black and purple, the dark shade of purple. The one that reminds you of those gothic characters in cartoons or moviesπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. So out of all the heart emojis, the black one is my favourite. It has some type of dark, cold vibe around it. So I used it one day with one of my friends and they saved my contact as darkheartemoji and I loved it, so I said why not?πŸ˜‚πŸ–€ As for the coded poet, well someone told me I speak and write in a language that most don’t get. Apparently, even the memes I post are “coded” which I totally don’t agree with, but anyways, that’s how thecodedpoet came to be. Anyways, we both know what you came here for, so here it goes.

Me!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

A bright, bubbly, average lass
Tall with that medium sized mass
Normal, very easy to miss and pass
Yet smart, talented and very witty
Ever ready to laugh, sing and dance
Though on some days, she’s dark and broody
Because most times noone will give her a second glance
Call it invisibility power, it makes her moody
She loves the peace and solitude and will grab it given the chance
She would thrive alone, given a chance and the money
Yet for some love and company her soul always yearns.

What you see is not always what it is
She smiled to keep those around her at ease
She tries to look simple and easy to please
She breaks her back to ensure everyone is okay and at peace
Inside she is what she really is
Cold and disgusting like a forgotten piece of cheese
Rotten inside like flesh infested with disease
Dead inside but you see a cloak of colour
Weak mentally but you see a crown of valour
Broken and done but you feel a spout of power
Noone hears the cries she lets out every hour
The silent wails that could shake and fall the tallest of towers
In a dark corner she sits as her tears she covers
She lets them out all alone in the cold shower.

Darkness is pretty, right?πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Fiction is something else, right? If I was to design a character that I would love, it’d probably be the one in that piece. I love broken things, broken people, broken hearts. The world wants perfection, most people want perfection. But what’s the use of perfect?
I guess you have gotten a glimpse of me this far. I am an enigma wrapped within a riddle. Or is it a riddle wrapped in enigma? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I’m toying with you. You probably have to unwrap the layers to solve me. Or solve to unwrapπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ whatever pleases you, or fits your grammar, my esteemed reader.

My view of life is in one word, DYNAMIC. I thrive in the fact that I am quite flexible. I can shift my world views and I am always eager to know of other people’s views on not just life, but all matters in general. Do leave a comment for that matter on your thoughts.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Maybe stick around and you’ll learn a thing or two about my view of this journey we call life.

My parting shot: Be happy, always! Smile, laugh and jump!
Have a great November ahead.

Read Six of crows by Leigh Bardugo when you get the time. Till next time.
